The OHS Consultation Statement should record:
  • the OHS consultative arrangements
  • how the OHS consultative arrangements were arrived at
  • how employees will be consulted about OHS
The OHS Consultation Statement may also record:
  • the employer's commitment to protecting the safety and health of employees
  • the role and responsibilities of management with respect to OHS
  • the role of the OHS Committee and OHS representatives with respect to OHS
  • the dispute resolution procedure in relation to OHS matters
  • when and how the OHS consultation arrangements will be reviewed
  • the methods of nomination, election and replacement of employee OHS Committee members

The OHS Consultation Statement should be made available to employees and displayed in a place where employees will readily see it.
